Meet Yael VanGruber of Clique Gallery – Boutique
Today we’d like to introduce you to Yael VanGruber.
Yael, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story has never followed one straight path, and I believe that is what made it so meaningful.
I started my professional life in the travel industry, first owning a travel agency and later working in the airline business. Those years taught me so much about people, cultures, communication, service, and how important it is to make others feel cared for. Even then, I was always drawn to helping people and creating meaningful experiences.
Over the years, my path expanded into real estate, counseling, art, jewelry design, wellness, and teaching. I am also a mother of ten, and raising a large family became one of the greatest classrooms of my life. It taught me patience, resilience, responsibility, compassion, and how differently every person needs to be understood.
There were many times in my life when I had to reinvent myself. Instead of seeing that as starting over, I learned to see it as growing into the next version of myself. Art became a way to express emotion, counseling became a way to guide people through relationships and life transitions, and teaching yoga, aqua fitness, and Pilates became another way to help people feel stronger and more confident.
Today, through Clique Gallery – Boutique and the many ways I continue to work with people, I see that all of these chapters were connected all along. Whether I was helping someone plan a journey, assisting a traveler at an airline, guiding a family, teaching a class, or creating a piece of art, the common thread has always been the same: connecting with people and helping them feel seen, supported, and inspired.
And I still believe some of the most exciting chapters are ahead of me.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not always been a smooth road, but I have learned to see challenges as part of transformation rather than as reasons to stop.
Life has taken me through many different chapters, personally and professionally, and each one required me to grow, adjust, and sometimes completely reinvent myself. I have learned that even when circumstances are difficult, there is usually something to learn, something to build from, or a new direction beginning to open.
I have always tried to look for the positive, not by ignoring difficulties, but by asking myself, “What can I do with this? How can I grow from it? What can this teach me?”
That mindset has shaped the way I live, the way I work, and the way I help other people. Transformation has become a major theme in my life — turning setbacks into strength, uncertainty into creativity, and difficult experiences into greater compassion and purpose.
I believe we all have the ability to create a new chapter, no matter what came before it. For me, staying hopeful, adaptable, and willing to keep moving forward has made all the difference.
As you know, we’re big fans of Clique Gallery – Boutique . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Clique Gallery – Boutique is a creative, wellness, and healing-centered brand that brings together art, personal growth, counseling, jewelry, and movement. What makes it different is that it was never built around just one product or service — it was built around the idea of helping people feel inspired, connected, supported, and transformed.
As an artist, I create original contemporary artwork and prints that are designed to bring emotion, beauty, and meaning into a space. My work often reflects themes of relationships, resilience, love, strength, healing, and personal transformation.
But the brand goes beyond art. I also work with individuals and couples through relationship and life counseling, helping people navigate communication, family dynamics, transitions, emotional growth, and new chapters in life. In addition, my background in yoga, aqua fitness, Pilates, jewelry design, and entrepreneurship allows me to bring wellness, creativity, and personal connection together in a very natural way.
What I am most proud of is that Clique Gallery – Boutique reflects who I truly am. I never wanted to place myself inside one professional box. I believe people are multidimensional, and our work can be too.
Whether someone connects with me through a painting, a counseling session, a wellness class, jewelry, or a creative workshop, my goal is the same: to create a space for inspiration, healing, confidence, connection, and transformation.
For me, the brand is not simply about selling something. It is about creating an experience, a feeling, and hopefully something meaningful that stays with people long after they encounter it.
At the heart of everything I do is one belief: we can always grow, transform, and create a new chapter.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I believe the next 5–10 years will bring an even stronger connection between art, creativity, wellness, emotional health, and meaningful products.
People are looking for more than something beautiful to buy. They want something that carries a story, emotion, purpose, and a feeling they can connect with. That is where I see the future of my brand growing.
My vision is to expand Clique Gallery – Boutique into a recognizable creative brand built around the idea of Art That Heals — art that brings beauty into a space, but also carries messages of hope, strength, love, positivity, and transformation.
I see my artwork expanding beyond the wall into products people can wear, use, gift, and live with every day — fashion, accessories, wellness products, home décor, journals, and other creative collections inspired by my art and messages.
Technology and online platforms are making it possible for an independent artist to reach people anywhere in the world. My dream is for Art That Heals and the products connected to it to become recognized internationally, reaching people far beyond Dallas and across different cultures and generations.
For me, the future is about creating something much bigger than a painting or a product. It is about building a global creative brand that brings beauty, inspiration, healing, and transformation into people’s everyday lives.
